Heidi, i was just diagnosed this korning with a buldging neck disc pressing on my spinal cord. I know it is possible to heal. Should i quit handstands? Any words of encouragement for me and how can i prevent more because i can tell other discs are stressed!

Hi there! Strengthening your core will protect your spine! Definitely work with your doctor when you have serious medical issues. There is no reason to quit handstands or forearm stands, but important to steer very clear of anything that puts pressure on your neck like headstands or shoulderstands (even plow if it doesn’t feel good.) Deep breaths and happy healing :)
